Abstract

This research study to determine employee performance, work stress and job satisfaction and analyze the effect of work stress on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The type of research used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire. This research was conducted at PT. Gudang Baru Berkah Kepanjen. The population in this study were employees of the production department of PT. Gudang Baru Berkah with a total of 120 employees. The sample used in this research was 55 employees using a sampling technique using simple random sampling by taking samples from the population at random without paying attention to strata in the population. The data analysis method used is path analysis with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this research indicate that work stress has a significant effect on employee performance. Work stress has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Work stress does not have a significant effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable
