Abstract

Learning, Myself, Grade 1 Elementary School Role Playing.
Media acts as a technology that carries messages (information) and as a tool to create more interesting learning situations and create abstract concepts. Based on the results of observations made by researchers in elementary schools during class 1 Indonesian language learning, it is known that the use of media is limited and students are less enthusiastic and quickly get bored and do not pay attention to the material being presented. The aim of the research is to produce a product developing the Reading Tree media as a medium for learning Indonesian language material, Diriku, using the Role Playing learning method for grade 1 elementary school students.
This media development uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages which include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The Reading Tree media for Indonesian language learning that has been developed will be validated by media experts, material experts, learning experts, small-scale trials and large-scale trials. This assessment was carried out in class q at SD Negeri Kedungsoko III by collecting interview data, observation sheets, documentation and questionnaires. This data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis (suggestions & criticism) and quantitative data analysis (values given by validators and student questionnaires).
The research results were obtained from data collection through the results of the percentage of media expert trials of 91.1%, material trials obtained a percentage of 94.5%, learning expert trials reached a percentage of 98.18%, group trials with a percentage of 95.83% were carried out in Kedungsoko III State Elementary School, Tuban Regency for grade 1 elementary school students. Making Reading Tree Media uses the Role Playing method. Students play the characters in the learning scenario, students use media using Reading Trees with concrete objects in the form of imitations of apples made from flannel. The material in the Reading Tree media uses practice questions with essay type questions.
