In the current era of globalization, the role of technology is growing very rapidly and increasingly spreading to various elements, one of which is education. Nowadays, technology and education are very closely related, because with the help of technology, education will be more effective and efficient. However, in reality there are still several schools that have not utilized education and technology to the maximum extent possible. The aim of this research is to determine the knowledge of PJOK teachers regarding ICT (Information Communication Technology)-based learning media in elementary schools in Randuagung.
This research uses a type of qualitative research with the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model which includes several stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions or verification. Data was taken from 2 elementary schools with 2 PJOK teachers. This research uses data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research was conducted in September 2023.
The results of this research show that: (a) teachers do not know everything related to the existence of ICT-based learning media. (b) Factors that cause teachers not to know this are obstacles such as no internet, inadequate facilities and existing resources. (c) efforts made by the school are to improve and provide facilities that are not yet available and provide seminars or training related to technology. So, each elementary school has its own advantages and disadvantages and is adapted to the conditions in the field.
