Abstract
This research was conducted to analyze the Career Development of employees at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel. This study aims to determine the quality of work and personal career planning of employees after participating in a career development program. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation with PAR (Participant Action Research) method and documentation. The results of this study concluded that: (1) career development at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel has been well implemented and has been running for two years through CDP (Career Development Program) with the number of employees who have followed as many as 40 employees who are contract employees; (2) some employees of Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel who have participated in CDP get promoted, although in personal career planning in the next three to five years, employees have not determined in detail.
