Abstract
This research aims to develop a three-phase distribution control system using Simulink MATLAB based on the Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) with fuzzy-PI control to enhance voltage stability in the distribution network. The use of the fuzzy-PI controller is the result of combining the Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) and the PI controller. Simulation results demonstrate that the utilization of the fuzzy-PI controller can improve voltage stability with more stable outcomes compared to the PI controller. The system voltage reaches 218.9 V, and the power factor reaches 0.9558 with the use of the fuzzy-PI controller. Although this research was successful, a suggestion for further development is to explore other methods such as the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for UPFC control.
