Abstract
This research discusses substantive and mechanical editing strategies in the book "Characteristics and Legal Accountability of Oligarchs" by Prof. Dr. Rachmad Safa'at, S.H., M.Sc. The main objective is to describe the editing strategy used and identify the obstacles faced in the process of editing the manuscript. The research uses descriptive analysis with Eneste's editing theory as the basis for the analysis.
The results of research on substantive and mechanical aspects show that the editing strategy used in the book is effective in ensuring clarity, cohesion, and accuracy in conveying information. Emerging obstacles were also identified, including challenges in maintaining consistency and complying with established standards. shows that the strategy in substantive and mechanical editing Characteristics and Legal Accountability of Oligarchs by Prof. Dr. Rachmad Safa'at, S.H., M.Sc. can answer how the strategy in the book works while still using general methods like other books when edited by an editor, this must also be by the target or a statement that has been prepared by the company or Media Intelligence. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of appropriate editing strategies in ensuring the quality of a written work. This research contributes to the understanding of substantive and mechanical editing processes in the context of law books and provides useful insights for editing practitioners and authors.
