Abstract
Problem: This research aims to overcome the problem in the application of reciting the Qur'an in children with the lack of design solutions to features and still not meeting user needs. Method: user needs analysis method. This method integrates needs exploration with understanding user experience. One of the main solutions is to integrate user needs and user experience, namely parents teaching
their children who are still in elementary school in the UX Journey approach. Results: in testing acceptance criteria for the Qur'an recitation application design solution in detail the criteria for the appearance of the design solution and features that have been fulfilled in the application design solution so that it is accepted and considered successful (verif) on the features and design solutions of the Qur'an recitation application, and the requirement metric shows that the answers from self review with Peer Review or researchers 1,2,3,4 have met the standards of clarity, accuracy, completeness, understandability, verification, internal consistency, and correctness because the results show a value of 1 so that
the results are verif. Conclusion and development: This research has produced a design solution for learning to recite applications that meet user needs. However, the research should be developed in the form of an application. This could include additional testing to find out how effective the Qur'ānic recitation app is in the real world, involving more parents teaching their children, as well as having a
long-term study to track the Qur'ānic recitation progress of children using the app.
