Abstract
Background : Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is myocardial necrosis caused by an imbalance in oxygen and blood supply resulting from an acute blockage of the coronary arteries. Rupture of atheroma plaque in the coronary arteries, followed by thrombosis, vasoconstriction, inflammatory reactions and distal microemboli, is the factor that largely causes acute blockage of the coronary arteries. Atherosclerosis is a disease in which cholesterol plaque builds up on the walls of the coronary arteries, narrowing the arteries and blocking normal blood flow. If the plaque breaks or forms a blood clot that blocks the artery and an AMI occurs
Methods: In this study it was carried out in an observational way, so there was no special treatment on the sample. Researchers only collected data retrospectively. Data collection is carried out in several stages, namely the identification of all data on hospital inpatients with acute myocardial infarction, Dr. Iskak Tulungagung in the January-December 2023 period, then information from RMK for Acute Myocardial Infarction patients will be entered into the data collection sheet and master table with the amount based on the slovin formula
Result and Conclusion : This study shows the pattern of use of anticoagulant single therapy as many to all 79 patients (100%), while the pattern of use of switches was 32 (41%). The pattern of anticoagulant use for PCI was Heparin (5000 IU) IV bolus in 37 patients (74%) and anticoagulant for maintenance was Enoxaparin (2 x 60mg/0.6mL) sc was used in 59 patients (88%). The maximum duration of anticoagulant therapy was ≤ 5 days for 67 patients (85%)
