Abstract

Teaching materials function as an intermediary between teachers and students in the learning process. The learning process is usually influenced by creative and interesting open materials. One example of innovative teaching material that can attract students' attention is by creating an Experiment-Based Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) on Theme 3 Subtheme 3 Learning 1.
This study is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis are the techniques used in this development research. Quantitative data analysis includes data that can be calculated and described using numbers, while qualitative data analysis includes data used in research to explain phenomena that cannot be calculated. To find out how to develop experimental-based Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) teaching materials on theme 3 and sub-theme 3 of learning 1 in grade 3 of elementary school, both approaches were used.
The results of research on the development of teaching materials for student activity sheets (LKPD) based on experiments show that the validation of teaching materials is 75 percent or valid enough to be used by students and the validation of material experts is 90 percent or valid enough to be applied to students. Based on student response figures, teachers got a percentage of 87.5 percent or quite good. Teachers can use these recommendations as intermediaries in the learning process, increase student motivation, and help other researchers understand shortcomings and create new learning materials.
