PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BIG LADDER SNAKE DALAM MATERI PENGUKURAN BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL BATU DI KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR

Based on the results of a needs analysis through observation and interviews in class II on 27 October 2022 at SDN Mojorejo 1 Batu, this SD already uses an independent curriculum. The independent curriculum here has been implemented in grades 1 and 4. To support the teaching and learning process students need an interesting learning media so that students are interested and not easily bored in the learning process. Based on interviews with the class II homeroom teacher said that the media in class II SDN Mojorejo 1 Batu was inadequate. The learning media used by students in measuring materials in elementary schools only use clothes hangers and meters. Students at this elementary school also do not know local wisdom in their area. Based on the needs analysis above, the Media Big Lader Snake product in measurement material related to local wisdom in Batu City was developed so that students know about local wisdom in Batu City.
In the Research and Development of Batu Local Wisdom-Based Snakes and Ladders Media, researchers used the ADDIE model which has 5 Stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The subjects in this study were teachers and class II students at SDN Mojorejo 1 Batu.
This Big Ladder Snake media was designed and developed by passing a validation test to measure validity before being implemented in learning. The validation is divided into two, namely material validation and media validation. Material validation is carried out twice, in the first stage it gets a percentage of 45% with a note that it is not suitable for use and revision. While the second stage of material validation gets a percentage of 87% with a note that it is feasible to use in the learning process. After validating the material, the researcher then validated the media. This media validation was carried out three times. In the first media validation, a percentage of 64% was obtained with a note that it was not suitable for use and revision. The second media validation gets a percentage of 75% and the third validation gets 89% with a note that it is feasible to use.
