Abstract
This research was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of compensation on intention to stay with organizational commitment as a mediating variable at PT Gudang Baru Berkah in the Linting section with a population of 120 employees. The sample in this research was 55 employees using the Slovin sampling technique. This type of research uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling by taking samples from the population at random without paying attention to strata in the population. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is scale range and path analysis with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The scale range results show that intention to stay is in the very high category, compensation is in the very good category, and organizational commitment is in the high category and the research results show that compensation has a significant effect on Intention to Stay. Compensation has a significant effect on Organizational Commitment. Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on Intention to Stay. Compensation has a significant effect on Intention to Stay with organizational commitment as a mediating variable.
