Abstract
Gender is an innate trait for certain people, both men and women as a result of social and cultural construction. Men and women have different characteristics, which lead to different roles, duties and positions in different areas of life. Gender differences that develop from generation to generation make women take on different roles, functions and positions than men. This is related to social and cultural factors in society. E-cigarettes generally have the same function and use as conventional cigarettes because they can cause the sensation of releasing vapor which is considered by users to be a calming thing. The phenomenon that has become a trend and discussion in society is the presence of vape or E-ciggarete (e-cigarette). Vape was first developed in 2003 by SBT Co Ltd, a company based in Beijing, PRC. Vape is a battery-operated device that simulates the sensation of smoking. "How is society's interpretation of female e-cigarette users in the Sudimoro café center environment. Many people interpret that women smoking is bad behavior and feel it is not in accordance with Indonesian culture, and vice versa, people interpret it as something normal or usual depending on the social interactions in their environment that this is something that is normal.
