PROGRAM PENDAMPINGAN ANAK PUTUS SEKOLAH BERBASIS KOMUNITAS LASKAR BELAJAR (Studi di Kawasan Muharto Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang)

This research explains the mentoring program for children who have dropped out of school carried out by the Laskar Belajar Community in the Muharto area Kedungkandang District Malang City. The purpose of this research is to determine the community-based mentoring program for children who have dropped out of school carried out by the Laskar Belajar Community in the Muharto area Kedungkandang District Malang City and factors causing children to drop out of school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Research subjects were determined using purposive techniques. In collecting data, this research used 3 qualitative techniques, including interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that there are many programs carried out to help the learning of out-of-school children in the Laskar Belajar Community. The Laskar Belajar Community always carries out programs of learning activities, active crafts, experiments, character education and refreshing. There are several factors that cause children to drop out of school in the Muharto area Kedungkandang District Malang City. Internal factors are caused by children's lazy nature so that children prefer to work to help their parents rather than go to school to learn. An unsupportive school environment that causes bullying is also an external factor for children dropping out of school in the Muharto area Kedungkandang District Malang City.
