Abstract

Analysis of existing needs in schools with teachers, that at SDN Punten 1 Batu City, currently learning activities for grade 1 elementary school students require media that can help students' learning or needs. During learning activities, teachers already use media in the form of various types of learning, but the media used requires re-development to meet the characteristics of current students. The difference between media at school and the mediasmart wardrobe that is, the media used by teachers is still focused on the teacherstudent center, while the mediasmart wardrobe This is a media that makes students more active in learning andstudent center. This research aims to describe the media development processsmart wardrobe Based on Bruner's theory in interesting elementary school grade 1 mathematics learning.
This research uses the ADDIE development model which has several stages, namelyanalysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Data was taken from the subjects of class 1 students at SDN 1 Punten, Batu City, totaling 18 students who attended. The research uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Research activities will be carried out in August 2023.
The results of the research produce mediaSmart Wardrobe by using concrete media made from strong teak wood. The media is equipped with a media usage guide printed in B5 paper size. The percentage result data from media expert validators is 66.7%, while the percentage result from material expert validators is 85.4%. Learning outcomes using testscognitive get increased value from the results before and after using the mediae-smart learning. Media is also assessed from the results of student responses by getting media attractiveness with a percentage score of 90%. So it can be said that media Smart Wardrobe suitable and interesting to use in 1st grade elementary school mathematics learning.
