IMPLEMENTASI KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI DALAM MENGELOLA SEKOLAH (STUDI PADA SMA KERTANEGARA MALANG)

This research is entitled "Implementation of Organizational Communication in Managing SMA Kertanegara Malang". This research explains how to implement or apply organizational communication in the work environment of SMA Kertanegara Malang so that it is able to make changes to the management system within it. Based on the confessions of various teachers who have taught there for a long time, previously Kertanegara Malang High School had very low quality. Both from a managerial perspective, school facilities, and the unclear allocation of school operational assistance funds (BOS), which causes the quality of graduates from SMA Kertanegara Malang to be poor. In 2014 there was a change of new principal who was considered capable of making changes at Kertanegara High School Malang and this really happened. Rejuvenation of school facilities, collaboration with other educational institutions, improving the quality of teacher performance, and a system of openness between school principals and teachers and their staff. This research uses a qualitative method with a snowball sampling technique where research data is taken through interviews, but the selection of sources is based on ties connected to previous sources. The results of this research are that the application of organizational communication within SMA Kertanegara Malang can run well. This is demonstrated by the implementation of communication by the school principal to teachers and employees which can run well. Delivery of verbal communication such as meetings and face-to-face methods as well as writing in delivering work programs. Nonverbal communication such as facial expressions, emotions and body movements. Then carry out evaluations, providing infrastructure to support the work comfort of teachers and employees of SMA Kertanegara Malang.
