Abstract
Education is a medium or means of forming a generation that is intelligent and has good character. Through education the goals and hopes of achieving prosperity for all mankind can be achieved. Differentiated learning at junior high school level is a proactive learning model that involves students throughout the process. Characteristics of differentiated learning are concepts and principles in running a sustainable program for students' learning readiness and development. Learning Indonesian, especially to improve the ability to write and read rhymes, is still a long way off. than expected so that it becomes the problem formulation in this research (1) how to plan the implementation of differentiated learning through the activity of creating rhymes for class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu. (2) how to implement the application of differentiated learning through the activity of creating rhymes for class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu, (3) what are the results of the evaluation of differentiated learning through the activity of creating rhymes for class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu.
The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method with a differentiated approach. The data sources in this research were the results of interviews with the class VII homeroom teacher at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu and 15 class VII students and observations of students' activities during learning. Data is processed through several steps, namely (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) drawing conclusions.
From the results of the analysis and discussion, three conclusions were obtained related to planning differentiated learning through the activity of creating rhymes for class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu, namely the learning outcomes of class VII students in the application of differentiated learning through activities creating rhymes at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Batu, teachers can improve results. student learning. The students' ability to create rhymes based on the results of the description above means that students are able to create rhymes based on the aspects of suitability of content, ending, rhyme, and the number of syllables in the line. This is realized in the results of achieving grades for each student.
