ANALISA LEAN MANUFACTURING DALAM PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS PRODUKSI PT. JAYA ETIKA BETON

PT. Jaya Etika Beton (General Contractor and Precast Concrete Supplier) is a manufacturing company that focuses on the construction field as a major provider of precast concrete. The problem that occurs is the existence of waste in the production process which hinders the efficiency of the company. This study was conducted to determine and analyze the existence of waste and its causes, and provide a strategic plan for recommendations for improving the production process. The methods used are value stream mapping (VSM), value stream analysis tools (VALSAT), and the 5 why's. This study found that the high wastage that occurred included transportation, waiting, unnecessary inventory, and motion with moderate levels. The proposed strategic plan for improvement recommendations is depicted on the future state value stream mapping. The results of the improvement recommendations given are the value of lead time which was originally 5.35 days to 2.03 days and the value added ratio increased from 3.18% to 8.37%.
