PESAN PERJUANGAN DALAM FILM ANIMASI (Analisis Isi Pada Film Animasi Jumbo Karya Ryan Adriandhy)

Animated films are a form of mass communication capable of conveying social messages through stories, dialogue, visuals, character actions, and the conflicts presented. The animated film Jumbo presents various meaningful life messages, particularly regarding struggle. This study aims to describe the message of struggle presented in the animated film Jumbo. The study used a qualitative approach with a content analysis method based on Klaus Krippendorff's theory. Data were obtained through film observation, documentation, and literature review. The units of analysis included dialogue, scenes, character actions, expressions, conflicts, and the storyline, which convey the message of struggle. The results show that the message of struggle is represented through an attitude of never giving up, courage in facing challenges, hard work, sacrifice, responsibility, and the effort to achieve goals. These messages form a storyline that emphasizes the importance of struggle. This study demonstrates that the animated film Jumbo functions not only as a medium of entertainment but also as an educational medium that conveys positive social values to the public through a communicative and easily understood story for various groups.
