Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of training on employee performance through competence as a mediating variable at Fabulous Holiday Tours Malang. The research applied a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to company employees. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The findings show that training has a positive and significant effect on competence and employee performance. Competence also has a significant effect on employee performance and is able to mediate the relationship between training and employee performance. These results indicate that effective training programs can improve employee competence, which subsequently enhances employee performance. This study is expected to provide recommendations for companies in improving the quality of human resources through training programs that are aligned with work requirements.
