Abstract

The research objective was to improve the quality of Frozen Food's processed fish packaging at UD company. Blessings of Adi Son. This type of research is exploratory research. Population of all fish processed products in UD companies. Blessings of Adi Son. This study used the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) method and created a fishbone diagram. Results can be seen that the highest to lowest failures are in the human aspect with an average value of RPN 126, machines with an average value of RPN 110, materials with an average value of RPN 102, methods with an average value of RPN 75, and machines with an average value of RPN 65. Meanwhile, in fishbone packaging for frozen food fish products, the cause of risk is due to several aspects, namely machines, materials, people, methods and funds.
