Abstract
Employee turnover is a significant challenge in today's business world, leading to financial losses, knowledge and experience depletion, and operational disruptions. Therefore, retaining employees is crucial in reducing turnover intention. This study aims to analyze the impact of employee retention on turnover intention, with job satisfaction acting as a mediator, specifically at Lyly Bakery Babat in the bakery sector. The findings suggest that efforts to enhance employee retention directly contribute to increased job satisfaction, subsequently reducing the intention to switch jobs. These insights can guide company management in developing effective employee retention strategies, focusing on factors that boost job satisfaction to retain talented employees. Moreover, this research contributes to the field of human resource management and turnover intention in the service sector.
