Abstract
The research aims to determine the influence of the non-physical work environment on employee performance, determine the influence of workload on employee performance, determine the influence of the non-physical work environment on job satisfaction, determine the influence of workload on job satisfaction, determine the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, determine the mediating role of satisfaction work on the relationship between non-physical work environment and employee performance, knowing the mediating role of job satisfaction on the relationship between workload and employee performance. The research population was all Batu City BPKAD employees with a sample of 60 people, the sampling technique used probability sampling with a total sampling approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, the analytical tools used were scale range and path analysis. The results of the employee performance scale range show a high score, job satisfaction shows a satisfied score, the non-physical work environment shows a good score, and workload shows a high score. non-physical work environment, workload, and job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance. non-physical work environment and workload have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Research shows that job satisfaction as a mediating variable can mediate the influence of the non-physical work environment and workload on employee performance.
