Abstract
Learning is a teaching and learning activity in which there are teachers and students. In a teaching and learning activity that takes precedence is the learning process. Student-centered learning tends to pay more attention to the current educational paradigm. It is an important factor that considers learning media as a learning component that has an important role in the learning process.
The research conducted aims to develop KOMACA learning media (Let's Read Box) for grade 1 students at SDN Tungungsekar 03 Malang. Based on these objectives, this research is a type of research and development (Research and Development). This study uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research model was chosen by the researcher because the ADDIE model is systematic.
The results of the development of the KOMACA (Let's Read Box) learning media in the Indonesian language subject for grade I elementary school students, based on the results of material expert validation obtained a percentage of 82.5%, media expert validation obtained a percentage of 84.10% with the category worthy of being tested. Meanwhile, the validation results from learning experts obtained a percentage of 96.88% and student responses obtained a percentage of 95.8%. Based on the results of research on the development of learning media, it shows that the KOMACA (Let's Read Box) media is suitable for use, and students' response to the media is very good. KOMACA media (Let's Read Box) can be used as a supporting tool for Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.
