HUBUNGAN SIKAP KERJA DAN BEBAN KERJA FISIK TERHADAP KELUHAN NYERI PUNGGUNG BAWAH PADA PETANI DI DESA PAKISAJI

Background: Agriculture is one of the most important sectors in Indonesia. So farmers need work hard to achieve their harvest targets. This leads to musculoskeletal complaints, one of which is low back pain. Low back pain is pain and discomfort located between the boundary of the costae and the inferior gluteus fold accompanied by leg pain or no pain in the legs. Risk factors for low
back pain in rice farmers are influenced by individual factors and employment factors. Employment factors include work attitude and workload.
Objective: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between work attitudes and physical workload on complaints of lower back pain among farmers in Pakisaji Village.

Method: The research method used was observational research with cross sectional method. The location and time of this study was in Pakisaji village, Malang regency, East Java. The total sample was 49 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. This study using Spearman Rho analysis test.

Results: The results of the Spearman rho test show a p value < (0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between work attitude and workload on complaints of lower back pain in farmers.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between work attitudes and physical workload on NPB complaints among rice farmers in Pakisaji Village.
