Abstract

This study examines the influence of communication and teamwork on employee performance at Kapal Garden Hotel, driven by issues in communication and teamwork affecting employee performance. The primary objective is to determine the extent of the impact of communication and teamwork, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance. The variables include communication as the first independent variable, teamwork as the second independent variable, and employee performance as the dependent variable, with the hypothesis that both communication and teamwork significantly affect employee performance. The research employs a quantitative approach using saturated sampling on 32 employees, employing questionnaires for data collection and analyzing data using multiple linear regression with SPSS 25 software. Results indicate that communication and teamwork significantly influence employee performance, with a determination coefficient of 67.8%, where communication has a more dominant effect than teamwork. The study concludes that effective communication and teamwork are vital for improving employee performance at Kapal Garden Hotel. The practical implication recommends hotel management strengthen internal communication and facilitate team collaboration to enhance productivity and service quality.
