Abstract
This study aimed to know the effectiveness of learning English vocabulary through John Pare's TikTok application activities to increase junior high school students' vocabulary mastery. This study used quasi-experimental research to compare the pre-test, whilst-test, and post-test results of the same group. The participants of this study were 12 students who took part in English club extracurricular at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang in academy year 2023/202. The data were collected by doing the test by 12 students. The participants were able to differentiate correct vocabulary from vocabulary that was not necessarily incorrect. The test also known as the truth value judgement test. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in mastery of English vocabulary after students watched the video on the John Pare’s Tik Tok account. As a result, it can be concluded that using Tiktok application to increase vocabulary in junior high school was successful in increasing students' language vocabulary mastery.
