Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of Collaborative Governance in realizing sustainable ecotourism in Amazing Bumiaji Tourism Village, Batu City. Ecotourism is a form of tourism that prioritizes environmental preservation and local community empowerment. In its implementation, Bumiaji Village faces challenges such as limited human resources and lack of synergy between the village government, the private sector, and the community. The background of this study is based on the need to realize sustainable tourism management through cooperation between various actors, such as village governments, communities, tourism actors, and the private sector. The complexity of ecotourism development requires cross-sector collaboration to be able to optimize local potential and preserve the environment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the process and dynamics of collaboration between parties in the development of the Rohjoyo Tourism Market in Bumiaji Village. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The analytical framework uses collaborative governance theories from Emerson dan Nabatchi which include initial conditions, participatory incentives, dialogue processes, trust building, and collaborative outcomes.
The results of the study show that the implementation of Collaborative Governance through collaboration between the Bumiaji Village Government and PT Bunga Cinta Sedjati has succeeded in increasing the potential of the village through the development of the "Rohjoyo" tourism market. This collaboration has an impact on improving the local economy, preserving the environment, and actively participating the community in tourism management. However, the study also found that the impact of collaboration is still partial and not completely even. Challenges such as low human resource capacity, lack of integrated promotion strategies, and lack of participation from non-UMKM actors are obstacles in maintaining ecotourism sustainability. This study recommends strengthening local institutional capacity and improving cross-sectoral communication to strengthen the sustainability of collaboration-based ecotourism programs.
