PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PETA HARTA KARUN (PETARUN) PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS III DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Local wisdom learning applied in the teaching and learning process was conducted through a development research approach. The development of instructional media is necessary because the learning process in elementary schools often remains conventional, causing students to be less motivated and less actively involved in classroom activities. Therefore, a game-based learning medium is needed to create an engaging learning atmosphere, enhance student participation, and connect the material with everyday life contexts. The purpose of this development research is to design and develop the Treasure Map (PETARUN) learning media for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in Grade III of elementary school.
This research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were Grade III students at SDN 02 Landungsari. Product validation was conducted by material experts and media experts. The material validation score was 95%, media validation 82.69%, teacher responses 88.89% (indicating the media was practical to use), and student responses 87.82% (indicating the media was engaging and enjoyable). The evaluation of student learning outcomes showed an average score of 85.38, proving that the media had a positive impact on learning achievement. Based on these results, the PETARUN media is declared highly valid, feasible, and attractive for use in IPAS learning for Grade III elementary school students
