PESAN MORAL DALAM FILM KOMEDI HOROR (Analisis Isi Pesan Moral Dalam Film "Sekawan Limo" Karya Bayu Skak)

This research analyzes the moral messages found in the film "Sekawan Limo" by Bayu Skak. Despite being a comedy-horror genre, the film is considered capable of conveying various life values important to the audience, especially values such as togetherness, responsibility, and compassion. The focus of this research is to identify and classify moral messages based on three main relationships: human relationships with God, with oneself, and with fellow human beings and the surrounding environment.

This research uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. Data was taken from 30 selected scenes in the film, chosen based on their relevance to moral values. Each scene was analyzed using Burhan Nurgiyantoro's theory of moral messages and divided into categories of message types, such as remembering God, being grateful, sincerity, responsibility, care, compassion, selfishness, helping, and solidarity. To ensure the reliability of the data analysis, source triangulation was used, which included 30 selected film scenes, theory, previous research, supporting literature and documents, and drawing conclusions.

The research results show that the film "Sekawan Limo" successfully conveys various moral messages explicitly thru dialog and scenes, even tho they are presented in a comedy and horror setting. This film is not only entertaining but also provides life lessons that can serve as a reflection for viewers, especially young people. This research proves that film media, regardless of genre, has strong potential for conveying educational values that shape the character and social attitudes of society.
