Abstract

This final project examines the role of the Art Director in designing and producing commercial advertisements for the Telogo Sewu Pandaan Tourism. The lack of promotion on Instagram hampers the opportunity for Telogo Sewu Tourism to reach audiences outside the region. The advertisement created becomes an opportunity by utilizing Instagram social media. Targeting an audience in the age range of 20 to 40 years of Instagram users. Introducing Telogo Sewu Tourism as a leading tourist destination with fresh natural water without chlorine. The important role of the art director during pre-production, production, and post-production. Designing advertisements based on the brief that has been prepared and according to the client's needs. The concept is cheerful, a fun and moment of family togetherness, with a cool and comfortable atmosphere. Published advertisements on the official Instagram account of Telogo Sewu Tourism. The assessment of the work was carried out by 50 people with the criteria of having been involved in the production of audio-visual products or works with a questionnaire. The majority of respondents gave an assessment of agreement and/or strongly agreement. The art director achieved its goal, the artistic aspect of the Telogo Sewu Tourism advertisement was assessed positively and successfully conveyed to the audience.
