Abstract

Isnaini, Aprillia, 2023. Analysis of Numeracy AKM Completion Ability in terms of Self Confidence and Readiness of Learners, Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang.
This study aims to determine the readiness and self-confidence of students in solving AKM questions of numeracy literacy type. This research used descriptive qualitative type and approach.
The object in this study were VIII grade students of SMP Brawijaya Smart School Malang in the academic year 2023/2024 odd semester. Data were collected from readiness questionnaire, self confidence questionnaire, numeracy literacy AKM test, and interview. The questionnaire is used to classify the level of readiness and self-confidence of students who have low, medium, and high readiness and low, medium, and high self-confidence. The purpose of the test was to determine the level of students' numeracy literacy AKM ability. The interview was conducted to triangulate the data and to find the problem more openly.
The results of this study show that learners' readiness is still low. In addition, learners' self-confidence is also low. Learners' numerical literacy AKM skills are also in the low category. Learners with low readiness tend to be sleepy and tired in learning. They are also lazy to take notes on the teacher's explanation and do not prepare well for learning. Learners with low self-confidence also tend not to believe in their abilities. In addition, they tend not to act independently and do not dare to express their opinions.
