PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOMIK BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL MALANG UNTUK KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to develop comic media based on local wisdom of Malang as a medium for learning science for fourth grade students of elementary school. The study used the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the trial were fourth grade students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the validation of material and media experts showed that the media developed were feasible and effective for use as a learning medium. This comic contains material on the theme of local culture Bantengan and Tari Topeng which is packaged in an interesting and educational way.
This study uses the ADDIE model research stage which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study aims to produce a learning product that can help students understand difficult material. The data collection technique in this study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation.
The results of this study produced a product in the form of a Sang Banteng comic with the material Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya. This study has gone through validation stages, namely material validation with a percentage result of 76% and media validation with a percentage result of 77% with the statement "Suitable for Use". While the results of student responses obtained a percentage of 94% and the results of teacher responses were 97%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the comic media based on Malang local wisdom "sang topeng" is suitable for use and is effectively used in the learning process.
