Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of mental health on the Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of students at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Nasional Malang. This research used a quantitative approach with a contributive correlation type. The population of the study amounted to 882 students. The sample consisted of 275 students of grade X and XI taken using probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used simple linear regression through the SPSS program. The results of the study showed that mental health had a positive and significant influence on the Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of students. This was proven by the significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and the t-count value of 13.951 > t-table 1.969. The regression equation obtained was Y = 4.738 + 0.369X, which means that every increase of one unit of mental health will increase the Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of students by 0.369. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.416 shows that 41.6% of the variation in the Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of students is influenced by mental health, while 58.4% is influenced by other factors.
