Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee performance, both directly and through job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Malang. The research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory type. The sample consisted of 50 permanent employees selected using the total sampling technique. Data were processed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.1. The results indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on both employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also significantly influences employee performance and mediates the relationship between leadership style and employee performance. These findings underline the importance of effective leadership in enhancing job satisfaction and employee performance simultaneously.
