Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee loyalty with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Hotel Patria Kota Blitar. A quantitative approach was employed using explanatory research methods. The sample consisted of all 72 permanent employees using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM- PLS). The results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and also has a direct influence on employee loyalty. Job satisfaction likewise has a positive effect on employee loyalty and is proven to significantly mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and employee loyalty. This research highlights the importance of implementing a transformational leadership style that emphasizes individual development, inspirational communication, and employee empowerment to enhance overall loyalty and performance.
