PERAN DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY (DOP) PADA FILM FIKSI PENDEK BERJUDUL “CASH OR DUEL”

This final project discusses the process of making a short fiction film entitled "cash or duel" and the role of the writer as Director of Photography (DOP). Inspired by the phenomenon of children using smartphones without parental supervision, this 8-minute film carries the comedy drama genre, uses Javanese with Indonesian and English subtitles, and is intended for film festivals and local screenings. As DOP, the writer is responsible for visual planning, shot lists, camera angles and movements, and lighting according to the director's vision. This role requires technical expertise and visual aesthetics to support the narrative and emotions of the story. Aimed at parents aged 25-44, this film aims to raise awareness of the importance of digital literacy and child supervision. With a strong visual approach and a touch of comedy, Cash or Duel conveys a social message in a light but meaningful way.
