Abstract

This research aims to develop fruit chips products in Malang City. The results of this research are in the form of development alternatives needed by fruit chips products in Malang City. The method used is Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP), this method helped to determine the best solution by parsing problems into a hierarchy that produce goals. The analysis results show that the best fruit chips are Sokressh products, the priority criterion obtained is Core Benefit with a weight value (0.302), and the priority sub-criteria is “fruit chips have health benefits” with a weight value (0.145). The conclusion of this research is that the development criteria and sub-criteria that must be considered and developed by SMEs of fruit chips in Malang City are Core Benefit and “fruit chips have health benefits”. Core Benefit can be the foundation for fruit chip products to develop the basic benefits of fruit chips. The sub-criterion “fruit chips have health benefits” is the main benefit of fruit chip products.
