ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS PERAN KEPALA DESA BERDASARKAN UNDANG - UNDANG NOMOR 6 TAHUN 2014 ( STUDI DI DESA SOBONTORO KECAMATAN BOYOLANGU KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG )

The village head has an important role in his position as a leader who is close to the community. So, it is important for the village community to participate in realizing and evaluating the performance of the village head. This research itself aims to analyze the role of village heads in carrying out their duties in accordance with the provisions contained in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. This research was conducted with a focus on Sobontoro Village. The research method used is yuridical empirical using library study data collection techniques, data collection through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively to describe the role of the village head in managing Sobontoro Village. The results of this research reveal that the village head has a very important role in managing Sobontoro Village in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014. His role includes managing the village budget, making development decisions, coordinating with related agencies, and empowering the community. Based on the explanation of the research results along with the factors inhibiting the Village Head in carrying out his role in carrying out his duties. Carrying out actualization and evaluation that leads to financial and income renewal. The problems faced are related to human resources, especially in the internal government of Sobontoro Village. The head provides training involving related parties/agencies according to the type and needs of each member of the internal village government so that the work process from all lines can be carried out. adequate and meets good targets in the running of the village government system.
