Abstract
This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the character of gotong royong to students in the independence curriculum at junior high school 2 Pekat, Dompu Regency.
The type of research used is descriptive analysis research and qualitative research methods. In essence, this study will include reports from qualitative research conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods at junior high school 2 Pekat, Dompu Regency. The method used in research uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. After that, the research data was analyzed and described in a research report in the form of a thesis.
The results of this research show that the implementation of the gotong royong character in the independent curriculum for students at SMP Negeri 2 Pekat implements the gotong royong character by applying the gotong royong elements in the independent curriculum, namely collaboration, caring and sharing which results in clean Saturday activities in the school environment and clean villages in the environment. public. The obstacles experienced by Pancasila education teachers are in accordance with the character of the students. The solution taken by Pancasila education teachers is to generalize so that students can cooperate with each other.
