Abstract

Ainiyyah. 2023. Analysis of Online Learning Barriers to Face-to-Face Learning Activities at Tegalgondo Elementary School. Thesis, Department of Primary School Teacher Education, FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Supervisors: (I) Bustanol Arifin, M. Pd, (II) Eni Rachmawati, M. Pd.
Keywords: Barriers to online and face-to-face learning
This research aims to describe the obstacles to online learning affecting face-to-face learning, as well as identifying problems that arise during the face-to-face learning process after online learning is carried out. Online learning was implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia, creating an abnormal situation that required the use of technology in the learning process. This is done with the aim of preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. As time passes, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic begins to subside, and life returns to a more normal state, allowing for the return of face-to-face learning. The learning process was previously online, then after the pandemic ended, the learning process returned to normal conditions as before.
This research uses qualitative methods with the research subjects being grade 5 students at the Tegalgondo State Elementary School. The researcher acts as an observer. This data was taken and collected through observation, interviews and documentation methods. This research was conducted in August 2022.
This research was carried out in June 2022. The results showed that the implementation of online learning was less successful because teachers faced difficulties in supervising students directly, and some students experienced technological problems, including internet quota problems. In addition, during online learning, some students have difficulty understanding the material because their parents are busy working. The impact of the lack of effectiveness of online learning is that when learning returns to normal face-to-face learning, some students experience difficulty in understanding the material that has been taught during learning.
