Abstract
In the learning process, students have characteristics that like to play and prefer project-based learning. For this reason, learning will be carried out using the PJBL (Project Based Learning) model in accordance with the implementation of the independent curriculum, namely giving class IV students the opportunity to create the desired learning style. through the results of interviews that have been conducted, students said that in learning they are more interested in using pictures. In learning, students prefer learning using direct learning media because they can be seen in real life and can be grasped by students. The existence of media can support the learning process to become more concrete and meaningful, according to the needs of students.
This research uses the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely: 1) analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. This research was conducted on fourth grade elementary school students with a total of 29 students. Data collection using observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and pre-test and pro-test. The data obtained is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data which is then processed and described by studying measurable data to determine the quality of the product being developed.
From the research results, the development of Pop Up book media also underwent validation tests. Validation tests are carried out by media validation experts, material validation experts, learning validation experts. With a percentage of each media validation expert of 70.3%, a percentage result of material experts of 85% and a percentage result of learning validation experts of 92%, so it can be said that this Pop Up Book media teaching material has valid qualifications and is suitable for use. used in the process of learning activities.
