Abstract

Rimpu is a traditional way of dressing typical of Bima, especially for women, namely by using a sarong (Tembe Nggoli) as a means of covering the genitals by wrapping it around the head. This study aims to describe the communication pattern between generations in building the Rimpu culture. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely by explaining and analyzing in detail the phenomena or events related to the communication patterns used by the Leu Village community in inheriting the Rimpu culture. The type of research used in this study is a case study. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that the communication pattern between generations in building the Rimpu culture in Leu Village is generally carried out from generation to generation through the family, especially parents and grandmothers and through social environments such as schools orally, either through stories or direct experience.
