Abstract

The combined scouting program is a form of character development for students at the equivalent level in Tawing Village, Trenggalek Regency. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which character formation occurs through the combined scouting program. This character is intended to become a habit embedded in students’ daily behavior.
This study employs a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. It was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Tawing, involving the school principal, Scout instructors, and students as subjects. The researcher utilized observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The research stages included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation.
The research results show that the implementation of activities includes planning, execution, and evaluation, all carried out effectively. Challenges in these activities include a lack of independence among some students, requiring further guidance. Overall, these activities have a positive impact on students' character development, though teachers need to continuously enhance their effectiveness.
