Abstract

Based on the results of the needs analysis of class IV at SDN 3 Tugu, there are students who have difficulty in understanding the explanation given by the teacher, especially in interpreting sentences in Indonesian reading texts and the minimal use of learning media causes students to tend to be passive. Based on these results, the researcher developed Roulette Bingo media to support learning and guide students in understanding the material with a fun and active atmosphere. The purpose of this study is to produce a Roulette Bingo Media product to help students understand reading text material related to main ideas and supporting ideas in Indonesian.
This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, with research instruments in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and questionnaire sheets. To determine the feasibility of the product, a validation test was carried out by media experts and material experts, and response questionnaires were distributed to 22 students and class teachers. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and qualitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale.
The results obtained from the development of the Bingo Roulette Media in learning Indonesian language for grade IV related to the material of main ideas and supporting ideas based on the assessment determined by the material expert got a percentage of 87.5%, and the validation of the media expert got a percentage of 92.5% with the category "Very Eligible". While the response from the teacher to the Bingo Roulette media got a percentage of 100% and the response from students got a percentage of 94.4% with the category "Very Good". The results of this study indicate that the development of the Bingo Roulette media can be used as a tool to support learning materials that are fun and make students more active and motivated to follow the learning, but still has shortcomings, namely the arrow on the Roulette is a little difficult to rotate, it is hoped that the Roulette can be rotated easily and practically in its use and adjusted to the needs of students.
