Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Compensation and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at PT Boma Bisma Indra. This study involved 78 employees as respondents, where the number is the entire population, so the study used a saturated sample technique. Using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) analysis tool method. The results of this study indicate that Compensation has a negative and significant effect on Employee Performance. Likewise, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneous analysis shows that compensation and organizational commitment together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the level of compensation, organizational commitment, and employee performance are in the high category. This finding also identifies that the compensation variable has a greater influence than organizational commitment on employee performance. In addition, this study can be a reference for further research that wants to examine other factors that affect employee performance in similar companies.
