Abstract

Application of 21st century learning criteria in the Pancasila
Education subject for class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Malang through critical
thinking enculturation. Thesis for the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study
Program (PPKn) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of
Muhammadiyah Malang 2024.Supervisor (I) Prof. Dr. Trisakti Handayani, M.M.
(II) Dr. Nurbani Yusuf, M. Si.
The aim of this research is to analyze the Pancasila education learning for
class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Malang, how to apply 21st century learning
criteria in Pancasila education subjects for class VII students at SMP Negeri 8
Malang through critical thinking enculturation and finally overcoming obstacles
and solutions in the implementation process 21st century learning criteria in the
Pancasila Education subject for class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Malang
through critical thinking enculturation.
Then the type of research used is descriptive analysis with the method used in
this research being a qualitative method which aims to understand a phenomenon
by observing and analyzing data in depth.
The results of this research show that in the Pancasila Education subject,
critical thinking enculturation has been implemented which has implications for
stimulating the potential within oneself. An obstacle in the process of
implementing 21st century learning criteria in Civics subjects is the difficulty of
coordinating students regarding enculturation.
