Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance on teacher performance with job satisfaction and organizational commitment as mediating variables among teachers at SMAN 9 Malang. The research was conducted on 83 teachers using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis with SmartPLS 4.0. The results of the calculation of work-life balance, which consists of time balance, involvement balance, and satisfaction balance, are categorized as balanced. The performance of teachers at SMAN 9 Malang is generally excellent. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment, based on the scale range calculations, are generally categorized as high. The research findings show that work-life balance does not have a significant direct effect on performance. However, work-life balance significantly affects performance through job satisfaction and organizational commitment as mediators. It is concluded that the higher the job satisfaction and organizational commitment, the stronger the influence of work-life balance on performance.
