Companies today face challenges in operating more efficiently and effectively, driven by globalization and technological advancements. In this context, effective management and skilled human resources are key to operational success. One crucial aspect that supports smooth operations is an efficient payroll system, which relies on internal control systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness in employee payments. A well-implemented internal control system can reduce potential errors in payroll processing, such as discrepancies in attendance data or overtime calculations, which are common in manual systems.PT Java Indosinergi Creative, a company in the creative industry sector, faces issues with inconsistencies between attendance data and payroll calculations despite transitioning to a web-based attendance system. Although new technology has been implemented, errors in wage and salary calculations still occur, leading to employee dissatisfaction and potential productivity decline. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a web-based payroll system at PT Java Indosinergi Creative, focusing on the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing process and its impact on employee satisfaction and motivation. The findings are expected to provide recommendations for improving the payroll system to enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall company performance. Additionally, this research contributes to the development of more transparent and fair wage policies, which may also be relevant for other companies seeking to improve their payroll systems.
