Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of authentic leadership style on employee performance, the effect
of authentic leadership style on work engagement, the effect of work engagement on employee
performance and the effect of authentic leadership style mediated by work engagement on employee
performance. This research was conducted on employees of PT Meydina Tour and Travel Revolution
in Sampang Madura City with a total of 34 respondents. The sampling technique of this study used a
total sample where all members of the population were used as samples. Data collection techniques in
this study used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Path Analysis. The results showed that
authentic leadership style on employee performance had a positive and significant effect. Authentic
leadership style on work engagement there is a positive and significant influence. Work engagement on
employee performance there is a positive and significant influence. Authentic leadership style through
work engagement on employee performance there is a significant influence directly.
