PENGAJIAN AL-QUR’AN DAN HADIS BAGI LANSIA (Studi Kasus di Masjid Manarul Islam Malang)

The Qur'an and Hadith are the two main sources of Islamic teachings. Both
are basic parts that cannot be separated. So that humans can know what and
how Allah wants from their servants, humans must adhere to the Al-Qur'an and
hadith. The Koran and hadith need to be taught in the correct way according to
the example of the Prophet Muhammad.
The aim of writing this dissertation is to find out the process of implementing
the recitation of the Koran and Hadith (QH), especially the material, methods,
and the impact on the recitation participants in building religious values within
the Old Age Congregation of the Manarul Islam Mosque.
This research is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The
data sources used were selected purposively and data collection was carried out
using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, data
analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis.
The results of this research show that the positive impact on changes in the
behavior of study participants is very significant which is directly related to the
theory of Out-of-School Education (PLS) as stated by Philip H. Coombs that
PLS is a whole series of education that is structured in such a way as to obtain
the following types of results - the type of learning desired by adult male, female
and child participants
